This Cookies Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on inboxmaid.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Our approach
inboxmaid.com is a static marketing website. We have built it to work with as little tracking as possible. We do not set first-party advertising, analytics, or social-media cookies, and we do not use ad-network or social pixels (for example, no Google Analytics, DoubleClick, Meta/Facebook, or Pinterest tags).
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy before or when those tools are enabled.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can store preferences and other information but cannot read data off your hard drive or access cookies set by other sites.
3. Categories of cookies
| Category | Do we use them? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Minimal | Our hosting provider may set basic cookies needed to serve and secure the site. The site does not require an account or login. |
| Functionality / preferences | No first-party | We do not store first-party preference cookies. |
| Analytics / performance | No | We do not currently run website analytics. |
| Advertising | No | We do not use advertising cookies or ad networks. |
| Social media | No | We do not embed social tracking pixels. |
4. Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies when you interact with them, governed by their own policies:
- Checkout — when purchasing is enabled, our checkout is provided by Lemon Squeezy, which may set cookies needed to process your order.
- Contact and early-access forms — submissions are handled by Web3Forms, which may use cookies to operate the form and prevent spam.
- Hosting — our hosting provider may set technical cookies for security and reliability.
We do not control cookies set by these providers. Please review their policies for details.
5. The desktop application
The Inbox Maid desktop app for Windows is not a web browser and does not use website cookies. Its settings, credentials, and run history are stored locally on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because the site uses essentially no non-essential cookies, blocking them should not affect core browsing. Disabling cookies on third-party checkout or form pages may prevent those features from working.
7. Do Not Track
Because we do not track visitors across sites, there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” signal to disable. We treat all visitors as not tracked.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do.
